How do I delete my account?
Ask from Account → Delete account in the app — two taps, a confirmation and then a receipt. It is the quickest route because your signed-in session already proves the account is yours. If you cannot sign in, or have uninstalled, ask at lonzo.ai/delete-account or email privacy@lonzo.ai from the address on the account with the subject Delete my account.
All three routes do the same thing: they put your request on the record for a person to carry out. The in-app control asks; it does not delete. Nothing is revoked or removed when you tap it, you are not signed out, and your account keeps working until we act on it — so no screen will tell you the account is gone while it is still there.
We remove your account and the data we hold for it from our live systems within 30 days, and revoke your Google authorization. Residual copies age out of our encrypted backups on a 90-day cycle, so deletion is complete — live systems and backups — within 90 days. The two numbers are two different things: removing your data is something we do, and after it nothing we run is serving your data; the 90 days is how long our longest-lived backup keeps a copy before it expires on its own.
Your Google data is untouched: Google is the authoritative source and what we hold is our own — caches of it, the conversations the assistant worked on with you, and the memory built from them — so deleting your account destroys those while your Gmail, Calendar, and Contacts in Google remain fully yours. You can cancel your request at any point before we carry it out — reply if you asked by email, or write to privacy@lonzo.ai if you asked in the app, since the receipt records the request rather than withdrawing it; once we have carried it out, the account cannot be restored. If you only want to stop the assistant reading your mail and calendar, you don't need to delete anything — Account → Connections → Disconnect revokes the authorization and keeps your account. See the Data Retention & Deletion Policy for the full schedule.
Two things deletion does not erase are the request itself — asking opens a support case, bounded by its own 30-day clock, which holds your email if you asked by email and holds no words of yours if you asked in the app — and the billing and tax records law requires us to keep.
