Voice or dictation isn't working

On the mobile app, voice uses your phone's own dictation — check that Lonzo has microphone permission in your system settings. On the web app, voice is dictation-only and works best in Chrome on desktop; other browsers may fall back to text only.

Your speech is transcribed to text you can review before it's sent, and the transcription is done by your device's or browser's own speech service, not by us. Depending on your device and its settings, that service may transcribe the audio on the phone itself or send it to whoever provides the service — on most Android phones, Google — under that provider's privacy policy. Lonzo never receives your voice audio: only the text reaches us. The Privacy Policy, Section 3(g), is the full statement.

Dictation language follows your account language, then your device's, defaulting to US English. If the mic still doesn't respond, try reopening the app.
